Crosswalk Collaborative offers technical assistance and advisory services to public, private, and non-profit organizations, focusing on affordable housing and community development programs, policies, and finance.

Crosswalk is led by Alice Hintermann, an urban planning and development professional with a focus on affordable housing. Prior to Crosswalk, Alice worked for New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation & Development where she oversaw the financing and development of over 5,000 affordable apartments. Her work has included both new construction and preservation/rehab, both rental and homeownership, with an overall focus on multi-family, mixed-use developments. Alice has extensive experience with a variety of federal and local funding sources, including 4% and 9% LIHTC, tax exempt bonds, rental assistance, and various state and local subsidy and tax incentive programs.
Alice earned a Master’s in Urban Planning from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
